I was recently researching the effects of meditation and serotonin levels, and found that when we are focused on feelings of love and gratitude, we can increase our serotonin levels naturally and instantly. Serotonin is the neurotransmitter that produces feelings of joy and calm and is stimulated with prescription anti-depressants. So, with that information it makes even more sense to meditate at least 10-20 minutes a day to keep the levels in a healthy range and avoid ALL negative side effects! And, once you learn how to meditate, it is FREE making meditation kind to the bank account as well!! Conclusion: Meditation is a WIN-WIN activity!!!
If you can take about 4 and a half minutes out of your day, listen to the meditation attached and notice an increase in your sense of joy and peace. If you are interested in learning how to meditate, sit quietly after the guided meditation and just stay in that space noticing your thoughts and bringing your attention back to your breath. You will increase your focus as well as your ability to enjoy peace and calm in your mind and body.
